About the position
In this role, you will be part of a growing team that works closely with the business and supports users with various IT-related issues. The team is responsible for receiving, managing, and following up on cases of varying nature – from simpler support questions to more advanced troubleshooting.
As an IT support technician, you will assist users both on-site and remotely. Your tasks may include assisting during meetings, troubleshooting technical problems, installing and configuring equipment, and ensuring that the IT environment at workplaces runs smoothly in daily operations. The role also involves contributing to structure and working methods in the team, following up on support cases at different levels, and liaising with both internal functions and external suppliers.
The work is primarily carried out from the office in Karlstad, where our client values close collaboration and personal contact between colleagues and users. The position is part-time and aims to support the team during periods of higher workload, where you contribute by relieving the regular operations.

Responsibilities
- Support for Windows, Office package (M365), Microsoft Teams & SharePoint
- Assistance with computers, mobile phones, meeting rooms, and conference equipment
- Troubleshooting and installation (e.g., adding extra memory/disk, reinstalling computers)
- Updating guides and documentation
We are looking for someone who
- Is studying at a post-secondary level, preferably in IT or technology, or has another primary occupation of at least 50%. We prefer this to continue for a longer period (about 1.5 years or more).
- Can work around 10 hours per week, mainly at the beginning of the week.
- Is proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.
- Can start the assignment shortly and has the possibility for full-time work during the summer.
A background check is required for this position.
It is advantageous if you have
- Previous experience in IT support or a similar technical support function.
